Hi, I am Irina, and I am a personal trainer and a fitness coach here in London. I am an ex gymnast who trained in a former Soviet Union; I specialise in weight loss, as well as practice Reformer Pilates and Mat Pilates. I work with athletes, models, bankers, musicians and VIP clients. When the client approaches me, what we need to do first is to sit down and talk about not only the GOAL, but what is going to take to get to the goal. There are a lot of things to take into the account. Such as nutrition, hydration, supplements, sleep, recovery, stress and mental health. Your next workout as good as your recovery.
Depending on the client’s goal we manipulate the calories, macro and micro nutrients, also known as carbohydrates, protein and fat. We can increase carbohydrates intake so that the client will increase in size or deplete those calories to get them to start losing weight, until we get the desirable result.
I combine High Intensity Interval training with Strength training. We work a lot on the client’s mobility to prevent injuries and improve overall fitness performance. To increase a range of movement in the joints I never neglect a stretch session. A typical PT session lasts 45-60 mins.
I am often asked, “when can I see results?”, it always depends on the consistency. However, the clients should start feeling fitter healthier and happier after the first session with me.
